This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Calorie Tracker: Food Lens (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the App.
The App helps you estimate calories and macronutrients from meal photos or food descriptions. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or track you across apps and websites.
When you choose to analyze a meal, the photo you select or take, together with any description or correction you provide, is sent to Google's generative AI service to produce an estimated food analysis. The result may include estimated calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, serving size, and an explanation.
Only submit content you have the right to use. Do not include faces, documents, addresses, or other unnecessary personal information in meal photos.
Subscriptions, free trials, restorations, and Lifetime purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers, product identifiers, entitlement status, transaction status, and related technical information so the App can unlock paid features. We do not receive or store your payment-card details.
Meal logs, nutrition estimates, favorites, goals, settings, and related app data may be stored locally on your device. This information remains there until you delete it in the App, delete the App, or erase the device, subject to device backups and operating-system behavior.
Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and the operating system may automatically process limited technical information needed to provide, secure, diagnose, and operate their services, subject to their own privacy policies.
