CrimeDoku is designed as a private puzzle game. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or similar personal information. We do not operate our own analytics or tracking servers. The iOS app does not show advertising. Starting with Android version 1.9, the free Android experience uses Google AdMob as described below.
The iOS app and Android versions before 1.9 do not use advertising SDKs. In Android version 1.9 and later, Google AdMob may collect and share technical data for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention when ads are requested. We do not sell or rent the personal information you provide to us.
The free Android version offers Seasons 1 and 2 with interstitial advertising after completed cases. Premium, including Lifetime access, removes advertising and unlocks Seasons 3, 4 and 5. We wait for purchase-status verification before requesting ads; if Premium is active, we do not request ads.
Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) may collect and share your IP address, approximate location inferred from it, device and advertising identifiers, app and ad interactions, and diagnostic/performance information. Google uses this information to deliver and measure advertising, perform analytics and prevent fraud and abuse. Ad-related data is encrypted in transit. We do not request precise location permission. Advertising-data retention and handling by Google are governed by Google's policies.
The Android app asks for a broad age group, with a 'Prefer not to say' option. This choice is stored only on your device; we do not ask for a date of birth or transmit your selected age group to our servers. Under-16 and unspecified choices use Google's child-directed, under-age-of-consent and general-audience ad settings. Other choices use age-appropriate content restrictions. Where required, Google's User Messaging Platform presents privacy choices before ad requests are permitted. You can revisit available choices through Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android's system settings. A request failure or unavailable advertisement does not prevent you from continuing the game. Google may serve personalized, non-personalized or limited ads depending on your choices, region and available consent signals.

The app may store game progress, solved cases, selected language, best times, settings, and similar gameplay information locally on your device so the game can function. This information is not sent to our own servers.
If you delete the app, reset your device, or remove local app data, this locally stored progress may be lost.
If you purchase Premium access or restore a purchase, the transaction is handled by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play, depending on your device. The iOS and Android versions use RevenueCat for purchase and subscription-status management, together with the App Store or Google Play. RevenueCat processes technical purchase information, purchase history and a pseudonymous app-user identifier to retrieve products, complete and restore purchases, and determine whether Premium access is active. We do not receive or store your payment card details. Apple, Google, and RevenueCat may process the technical purchase information needed to provide and validate your purchase, subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
CrimeDoku does not ask children to provide personal information. The advertising and purchase SDKs used by the Android app may process the technical data described in this policy. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at [email protected].
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app listing or in the location where this policy is made available.
